Police appeal for owner to come forward after dog bite incident

Police are appealing for a dog owner to come forward after their pet bit someone.

At around 9.50am on Friday, November 22 a member of the public was bitten by a sandy coloured spaniel type dog.

The incident happened outside the Coop in Boroughbridge Road, Romanby.

North Yorkshire Police say they would like to encourage the owner of the dog to come forward and provide their details.
