Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian died a month after being struck by a van in Northallerton.
The incident happened on October 17 around 10.10am on High Street, close to the entrance to Garthway Arcade.
A 57-year-old female pedestrian was struck by a white Peugeot van sustaining serious injuries.
The woman was taken to hospital on the day of the collision but sadly passed away on November 16.
Her family have been informed.
North Yorkshire Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage of the High Street at the time.
Officers are also appealing to owners of any nearby premises with CCTV which may have captured the incident.
