Police found cannabis after stopping a car on Northallerton High Street.
Officers on patrol stopped the suspicious vehicle on Friday night
Police said the vehicle smelt strongly of cannabis.
The vehicle was searched and three of the occupants were found to be in possession of the drug.
Police say they are currently investigating the incident.
A spokesperson added: “The police are actively disrupting drug users and dealers in Northallerton.
“If you have any information that you would like to provide to the police relating to any sort of criminal activity you can either call us on 101 or report the information to Crimestoppers anonymously.”
