All bin collections in Hambleton will be postponed on Wednesday 25 September due to the UCI World Road Championships.
“Due to the many road closures surrounding the cycle route, it would prove impractical for our collection crews to operate around the district,” said Councillor Stephen Watson, portfolio holder for waste and recycling.
“We have therefore taken the decision to cancel all bin collections on the race day.”
All collections due on 25,26 and 27 September will be one day later than normal with Friday collections taking place on Saturday 28 September.
Collections on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 September remain unchanged.
