Hambleton’s garden waste collections start again next week for residents that have subscribed to the service

Collections will take place week commencing either 18 or 25 February.

Subscriptions are also now open for the district council’s 2019/20 garden waste service – which runs from 1 April and remains unchanged at £35 per bin.

New and existing customers can sign up for the fortnightly collection service at hambleton.gov.uk

  • Properties participating in the current service must not remove their existing (blue) licences until the final collection in March 2019.  Bins not displaying the correct licences will not be emptied.
  • Residents subscribing for the 2019/20 now and up until 15 February should receive their new (orange) licences by 1 March – if not they should contact the council – residents purchasing after 15 February will receive licences within 10 working days –  they should be attached to their bin from 1 April 2019

Residents are encouraged to subscribe early to maximise their collections.
