A ‘Scam Avoidance School’ will be arriving at Northallerton next week, to inform people how to avoid the tricks used by fraudsters.
Santander has developed its Scam Avoidance School (SAS) as the result of its own research and consulting with top psychologists on the methods criminals use to hook people in.
The bank will be bringing its expertise to Northallerton Library on Monday, December 3, when it will be running a scam avoidance session from 10am.
Alternatively, people can pop into the library between 11.30am and 2pm and have a chat with Santander staff.
The event is open to everyone, not just customers of the bank.
For more information, ring the library on 01609-533832 or email; northallerton.library@northyorks.gov.uk
