Father Christmas will be setting up his toy workshop in Northallerton later this month.
Santa will be in his toy workshop every weekend from November 17 until December 23 at his North (Allerton) Pole in Central Arcade, just off the High Street.
Children can take away a gift, plus make some reindeer food to put out on Christmas Eve.
An appointment with Father Christmas needs to be booked in advance.
The cost is £10 per children, or £25 per family, for up to three children, and a maximum of two adults. A booking fee will also be charged. To book, click here.
The event is organised by Northallerton BID, a group of more than 200 Northallerton-based businesses who formed a Business Improvement District in 2017 and promote the town under the Love Northallerton banner.
They have planned further festive celebrations to take place in the town next month.
On December 2, Santa’s Street Party will be taking place on Northallerton High Street, with special guests Father Christmas, Three Wise Men on Camels, Leeming Bar Military Wives Choir and many more.
There will be a full stage programme from 12pm until 5pm with a mulled wine or hot soup, along with a carol singalong, a Nativity flash mob and Christmas shopping in the Good Cause Market.
Visitors can also enjoy street food, live entertainment and see Santa arrive at midday and depart as the town lights up for Christmas at 4pm.
On Thursday, December 6, Market Row and Barkers Northallerton Menswear are opening for a late night festive shopping experience from 6pm to 8pm with mulled wine and refreshments, beauty taster sessions, prize draws and special offers. The first 50 guests receive a free goody bag.
There will be free parking in Applegarth carpark on the night and every Thursday in December.
Julia Robinson, Love Northallerton manager said: “This is going to be the best Christmas ever in Northallerton, come down and see for yourself.”
