Bedale Christmas Festival takes place on Saturday, December 1 and will feature festive markets, a Christmas grotto and other entertainment.
There will be an indoor and outdoor festive market, with more than 30 stalls inside the historic Bedale Hall, as well as food, drink and gifts on sale on the cobble-lined market place.
Children’s activities will take place in the town’s museum and library.
The festival begins at 10am on Saturday with the indoor market at Bedale Hall running until 4pm and events on the Market Place finishing at 6pm.
At 5.30pm the town’s lights will be switched on.
