Thieves may have driven Stokesley farm vehicle down A172

POLICE believe thieves may have driven away an agricultural vehicle, after breaking into a farm building between Stokesley and Osmotherley.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses after the utility vehicle was stolen from a farm at Carlton-in-Cleveland at some point over Sunday night, October 21 and Monday morning, October 22.

Officers believe the 17 plate John Deere four-wheel gator was stolen from an outbuilding and then may have been driven out by the offenders towards the A172.
