Firefighters were called to a combine harvester on fire yesterday evening.
The incident in Baldersby, near Thirsk was reported at about 8.45pm.
Crews from Thirsk and Ripon attended the fire in a field.
A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire and the combine was moved to a hard standing on the farm premises.
The cause of the fire was overheating within the machine.
