Firefighters were called to a large barn fire this morning.
The blaze occurred in Great Langton, between Northallerton and Scorton.
The barn contained 350 tonnes of round bales and has been destroyed in the fire.
No people or animals were injured in the incident.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service initially sent crews from Northallerton and Bedale.
Crews were later sent from Richmond, Colburn, Masham and another from Northallerton, with a water bowser also sent from Boroughbridge.
It is thought the fire started when a bonfire got out of control.
